John Atkinson
John is an English-born writer, editor and passionate runner who is now privileged to call Vancouver, British Columbia, home. Since moving to Canada in 2006, he's tried his hand at acting and thrown himself head-first into the local running scene. The combination of the latter two pursuits has sprouted a third major string to his career bow – working as an emcee/race announcer. His current events include the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series (B.C. Coastal), Dave Reed Spring Classic 5k and Summerfast 10k. John also races at every opportunity, primarily feeding his burgeoning marathon addiction.
