Jordan Back
Over the past several years, Jordan has run over a dozen marathons with a personal best time of 2:51 and has also participated in many triathlons, including several Ironman events with a personal best of 10:16. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Music degree and it is his passion for endurance sports and love of the microphone that led him to the race announcing arena.
Over the years Jordan has had the pleasure of working with several talented announcers including the best in the business, Mr. Steve King.
Jordan has commentated for many events including the Desert Half Iron in Osoyoos, Cultus Lake Triathlon, Grand Columbian Half Iron and Iron distance triathlon, Cultus Lake Triathlon, Kelowna Apple Triathlon, XTC Off-road Triathlon, 2008 ITU World Championships (in Vancouver), Diva’s Only Race Series, Grouse Grind race, Longest Day 10km, Kneeknackering 50km, Khahtsahlano 17K Road Race, Iron Lung trail race, North Shore Half Marathon, Peak Challenge, Summit to Shore adventure race, Coho Run, Iron Knee trail run, Grouse Mountain Snowshoe Classic, and many others.
