Ean "Action" Jackson
Jackson was a fat kid. He liked to collect postage stamps and watch TV. At 14, he took up playing poker and smoking cigars. While returning from the pub one night at university, he lost a beer bet that involved running around a track. Shortly thereafter, he hit a telephone pole while skiing and broke a bunch of ribs.
Some say Jackson shook a screw loose when he hit the pole. Like Forrest Gump, he started to run. So far, he has completed over 100 ultramarathon runs, a handful of ultradistance triathlons and some very long swims. Pick an obscure trail. Jackson's probably run it. Mountain peaks? He's probably run them, too. Along the way, he became certified as a coach. He started-up a national team (100-kilometer run) and an organization that promotes free running events (Club Fat Ass).
